 Dylan,Tyler and I are looking for insects for our new bug motel. We really want big bugs and spiders. Time to go on an adventure but my Dad can't come because he has to feed the chickens. All of a sudden he tells us to come over to the chicken coop and we come over and see one baby chicken that hatched one hour ago and it is orange and it got stuck behind the door so we had to pull it out. It belonged to one of my chickens and it is the big chicken is white. Our rooster is called rock and roll because he trys to eat rocks and he rolls. He is very small but active and fast. Here we go on our adventure. "Were there and it is grass and swamp". "Just do the dinosaur stomp over all of it". It's all squishy and gooey. We finally reach the other side and go back home. 18.11.2013 Fishing trip

We're off on a fishing trip at the back of the farm. We see two hares together and they jet off. We get there but I'm a bit scared because we go through a nice looking native bush but it has a very spiky type of stinging nettle. It really hurts now, we get out of the bush and find a canyon, but there is a deer track down to a nice place covered with light, green grass and we start fishing with lures and flies with rods to catch the trout.

During the weekend all we did was farm work. We weighed one hundred sheep. Docked one thousand lambs, catching ten sheep in a big paddock, shoveling sheep poo into big bags and trailers,buckets. We planted lots of  native plants in our new garden too.

Plop splash here we are waiting for the fish to come for feeding time. Here they are. They are jumping and bumping ,prancing in the air eating all the bread smashing their heads together. Their shimmering scales sparkle in the sun.

Splash!. here come the fish they know what time it is?. feeding time. I can see their shimmering scales in the shiny blue sea. There is a fish that looks like a parrot and is called a parrot fish. They dance and prance all over the place jumping and bumping their heads.

"Hi !"  I am running with my big brother Dylan. We are running to the Clarke's house because we don't have enough gas to get there and back. Finally we get there and feed the calves and play fun games. Then we go home. I had the best day of my life apart from when I had to cook dinner myself  but it was worth it because
it was delicious.

I am surfing on one of the biggest waves in the world in New Zealand when all of a sudden a shark came and bit off the back of my surfboard just as I finished my special trick over the finish line.

I am in the snowboard championship race. "On your marks, get set, go" We're off and I'm magically coming
second and I have to dodge twenty pine trees and jump twenty metres long and five metres up. Johnny is catching up to me. Wow, Johnny and I are now first place. We have a tie and Lauren comes second and  Franklin and Chloe come third.

17.9,2013 possum on the run

Dad, Dylan and I are out hunting. "What is this? It is the first possum of the night"Dad goes to shoot it and  hits it but it doesn't fall out of the tree. We keep going hoping for a possum. Suddenly I saw one. Dad gets it. It falls and smack, it hits the ground hard We run over to make sure it is dead. We see that it is the one we shot earlier. We did the same with two other possums.

I can hear the the sounds of tanks shooting my friend is hurt. I run over to help I take cover in the tent their I saw a guy out comes Johnny the captain shoots the guy right in the hart like a hero .I see another guy I went to shoot but I was to late and darkness falls above me.

On Saturday my rugby team played three seven minute rugby games Johnny's team beat our team because they were offside all the time. In one hour it was prize giving. I got best tackler out of all of the teams I am a Champion!.On Sunday night Dad,Dylan and I went out to hunt possums we got three boys we would of got four if a girl hadn't of kept jumping and dodging the bullets we got lots of fur. After school Dylan and I are going to cheek the traps .I love weekends.

Last weekend I played for the Fielding reps team . We played a realy hard game against upper hut .We won 7-4 Dan and I got player of the day this weekend we will play Dannie-verk.

Hi my name is James sign I am going to talk about  what life would be like without flies .	You probably think that getting rid of flies would be a  good idea but they have a very important job to do.	If there were no flies, there would be dead animals everywhere, on the farms and in every country in the world..
Flies lay their eggs in the dead animals and pooh. Then maggots hatch and eat up all the rotting meat	Did you know that a fly actually have trunks, just like elephants do. They stick it into rotting stuff and suck it up. It blows bubbles as it eats. It tastes in its mouth and with its feet. Yummy!!!!!
Flies are very helpful to the corpse flower which is found in all sorts of countries. It is one of the biggest plants in the world and the stickiest. It smells like rotting meat which the flies think is food to eat.	When it goes into a corpse flower it gets pollen stuck to its wings then when it goes into another corpse flower it is pollinating them. Then they make seeds and grow new plants. They pollinate other flowers to.	Aaannnddd where would Venus fly trap plants get their breakfast lunch and tea. I hope I’ve changed your mind about how useful flies really are?? So let flies do more pollinating  and laying eggs and have more plants to stink to. Sign.

This morning when every one was asleep Dad and I went to chase all of the sheep that didn't have lambs onto a truck that was red and white. It was really quick and fun.

On Tuesday we were chasing sheep and I got exhausted when we finished because I went up and down the hills fast to. I had to bark like a dog, run up a hill fast and make sure the sheep didn't go the wrong way,scare them down the hill, round them back up again. Then I had to wait about half an hour on the side of the hill well mum and dad got the sheep to come and then I had to run onto the road and scare the sheep the right way with Kirsten my little sister and after that mum told me that she took five eggs out of her nest and they died because they were taken away from their mother. On Wednesday we were scanning the sheep that we got on Tuesday and I went to get a dog to help scare the sheep into the right pen.

Last night Dylan,Dad and I went to get some fire wood for the fire. We drove about three quarters of the way to the back of the farm. We got some bits of fire wood on the way there. When we were coming back we saw heaps of fire wood and when we got to a very steep hill we realised that we over loaded the trailer. We were skidding and sliding up the hill Dad made us get off and push ten times his weight. I slipped and slid half way down the hill on my bottom and then quickly ran up and jumped on the quad bike and we got home with nothing happening other us getting home.

On Saturday I played rugby. Our team faced Tyler's Team and we tried our very best to beat Tyler's team. I accidently pulled one of their players shorts down. In the end we were thrashing them. It ended up ten to six we won. The player of the day was Heme my best friend in the whole entire team If you include Caleb that is two.

It's time to run to the back of the farm.What! That is going to be a humangus run.
 "Oh well at least I will go faster down the hills.''
"Get away you silly chickens!" I shouted at all of our annoying chick choks.
"Squawk!" they cackled back at me.
What? Oh I am going down the first hill. I have to slow down or I could just climb the gate.
"Ok I'm finished" After I got inside I collapsed onto the couch and fell fast asleep until dinner time which is when Dylan woke me up.

It's Friday and that means it is time for cross country. Seven year olds first, what! It should be five year olds first, they will be quicker. Oh come on, not Tyler from Waituna west school. Boom Oh great look at that, the girls get to go first.Boom ok I will just run like the wind,oh I'm coming First out of the boys. One two three four five six, gosh how fast am I running ok I'm running fast enough to be coming first. Oh man here comes speedy old Tyler again. Oh come on this is a new shirt, dam now Tyler got in front of me. Yes I got back in front of him I'm nearly there yippee I won first place and I got two sausages and a can of coke! Yum. On Saturday It was rugby time I put on my colourful headgear and rugby boots for tackle rugby. Oh come on it's the girl team again oh well at least we will win the game and we start now hey that was a good,easy try. Ok and another I wonder what the score will be at the end of the game. Ouch! that hurt and I'm going to get a try yippee I did it.

In a week, Vicious Viper who is one of the chicken at our house that I named  might have two,three.four or five eggs that have baby chickens in them. Go vicious viper go go go. I hope they will hatch and survive.

On Friday we got a new puppy called Nick. We got him from the sale. Nick is really bouncy and really gets up to mischief in the laundry. The Clarke family are going to look after him in the weekend because we're going some where.

On Saturday Logan and Johnny came to my house for a sleep over. Dylan played with Logan and Johnny instead of me. We had lot's of fun on my tablet. It was awesome until Dylan started to play with them. It was really mean.

Yesterday was my birthday and I got a puzzle from Kirsten and a thingy mi-jig and beetle pen from Dylan and some cool books from Mum and Dad. I got a tablet from grandma and granddad. Later it was very sad because Rose our farm dog died because she got stuck in some vines and then she couldn't breathe.

Today It's Travis's birthday and we gave him a toy airplane and some lollies. Tomorrow is my birthday hip hip hooray. Johnny and Logan are coming to my house on Saturday for a sleepover and we are going to have a running race and a bike race ,jack pot, sequence, spot light, hey bail jumping.

Once upon a time there was a stinky old swamp and here comes the dinosaurs stomp stomp stomp. Out of my way you tiny Triceratops says a massive Tyranosaurus rex. Little dinosaurs, big dinosaurs some ate meat and some ate plants but down by the swamp they stomped.

Last night me,Dad and Dylan played chicken run with Love Heart , Mario and Vicious Delicious. They went running like lightening strikes in the sky. We caught Vicious Delicious in a fishing net. I caught Mario all by my self because she got stuck in a pile of dead trees.    

6.5.2013 My Holiday Story

On Sunday I did most of my stuff. First I will start in the morning.I went on the farm usually and then went to church and that was boring. Then it was rugby fun time. Everyone met their team and practiced and then played a ten minute or twenty or half an hour game. Then went to my granddads and played subway surfer and jet pack joy ride on his iPad and then went to Lone Star for dinner and Dylan's birthday hip hip hurray.    

When the holidays come there will be a competition some where in Fielding and the whole entire Apiti School has entered the competition and you need to be a school kid. To win the competition you will need to have a table and four place mats and any kind of decorations that's all and it also needs to be the tidiest, neatest.

Last night Peter Pan said that I could have two wishes and I wished for one million thousand dollars. I wished for an iPod. Then I played a few games on it. Then I saw Captain Hook sailing on the Never Sea on the Jolly Roger. I killed him. Smee his first mate is now Captain he is very nice. I felt awesome.

On Friday we traveled to my Nana's awesome, massive, purple house. My Nana has a dog called Tas. Tas is bouncy like a bouncy ball. Tas can bounce so high, she can jump onto the roof of a house. But she wasn't there because she was camping with my Dad. My Nana has a very old cat called Alfreda. She is ninety two years old in cat years. For Easter I got a big Easter egg, smell stickers and a new tooth brush that's electric.  I can put stickers on it. Easter is awesome.

The kaka is very sneaky, because it has sudden strikes. You never know when the kaka is coming at you. The kaka has scary eyes and a scary beak. The kaka has a sharp beak. It looks like two little curved knifes. The kaka swoops down and steals peoples food. It even eats out of your mouth which is disgusting.

Last night I had the strangest dream.I saw chickens eating one thousand eggs,. In a little row boat which is crazy! I found a chicken in a nest causing all the mess. What do I do about this terrible mess!
